Reactions have continued to trail the 10th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, AMVCA, which was held at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, on Saturday.
Funke Akindele’s record-breaking film, ‘A Tribe Called Judah’ failure to win any category has emerged as the biggest talking point from the event.
‘Breath Of Life’ was the biggest winner of the night, taking six awards, including Best Movie, Best Sound Design, Best Director won by BB Sasore, Best Lead Actor which was won by Wale Ojo, Best Supporting Actor named as Ademola Adedoyin, Best Supporting Actress by Genoveva Umeh, and Trailblazer won by Chimezie Imo.

‘A Tribe Called Judah’ on the other hand, lost all five nominations despite becoming the first Nigerian movie to gross over N1 billion in cinema last December.
Netizens have since kicked up a social media firestorm over the development.
