Nigeria’s headline inflation rose to 24.23 percent in March 2025, according to the latest figures from the National Bureau of Statistics.
The figure represents an increase of 1.05 percentage points compared to the 23.18 percent recorded in February.

The NBS said the rise marks a return to inflation levels seen earlier in the year, following the recent rebasing of the Consumer Price Index.
Analysts say the latest data reflects persistent upward pressure on consumer prices across key sectors.
