Nollywood actress Chika Ike has announced the birth of her first child, though details surrounding the baby’s father remain undisclosed.
The actress shared the news on Instagram, posting images featuring the word “Princess” in the background, a possible indication of the newborn’s gender.

Speculation over the child’s paternity had gained traction in recent weeks, with some reports linking Senator Ned Nwoko, who represents Delta North in the National Assembly, to the actress’s pregnancy. However, both parties have publicly dismissed the claims.
Ms Ike, in particular, stated that she had no intention of becoming any man’s seventh wife, a reference to Senator Nwoko’s widely known marital history.
