Onyeka Onwenu says she is working on producing a film that will showcase her experiences in the music industry which spans decades.
In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria, Ms. Onwenu says she is eager to share her firsthand account of the evolution of Nigerian music.

Her creative endeavours go beyond the realm of music, as she recently released a single, titled Abu Otito (Songs of Praise) and dedicated proceeds from its streaming to support widows through the Rose of Sharon Foundation.
In addition to her film project, she also says she intends to release her classic songs through collaborations with emerging artistes.
