Poland has expressed its commitment to cooperating with the International Criminal Court (ICC) regarding arrest warrants issued for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant.
Andrzej Szejna [An-Zhay Ze-Ji-Na], Secretary of State at Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, confirmed that Warsaw stands ready to support the court’s decisions, noting that immunity traditionally granted to heads of state does not apply in this instance.
Mr. Szejna further emphasized that Poland, as a signatory to the Rome Statute of the ICC, is legally bound to uphold and implement arrest warrants issued by the court, in line with international obligations.
