Harry Maguire and Erik ten Hag have been named the Premier League Player of the Month and Manager of the Month respectively for November.
Manchester United have struggled for consistency this season, losing ten of the 22 games they’ve played in all competitions, and sit sixth in the Premier League table after winning nine matches and losing six.
But November was a really good month for the Red Devils, with the club winning all three of their matches in the month. They were the only side to not drop points in the division, seeing off the threats of Fulham, Luton Town and Everton.
Not only did United win all of their games, they also didn’t concede a goal in November – a run that coincided with the return of former captain Maguire in defence.
The 30-year-old has been widely criticised for his performances over the past year and has often been left on the bench by Ten Hag, with an exit from Old Trafford appearing to be a near certainty in the summer before a move to West Ham eventually fell through.
