The United Kingdom (UK) says Russian President, Vladimir Putin, is not willing to end his war on Ukraine anytime soon following the recent wave of attacks on Kyiv.
Addressing journalists in London, the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), said President Putin had not shown any sign to suggest he wants dialogue.

While noting that the war was having global consequences, the FCDO said “the unprovoked invasion of Ukraine is a tragedy for Ukraine and a threat to Europe and its security.”
Also, speaking on Russia’s recent wave of attacks, the FCDO said it shows that Russia is bent on subjugating Ukraine by all means. It expressed dismay that the Russians would likely increase their attacks on Ukraine with the winter here, saying at least 75 drones attempted to hit Kyiv in the last weekend of November.
