Radio Now 95.3FM, Lagos, a Radio Station whose core mandate is Public Service Journalism is three years.
The Radio Station which started in December 2020, focuses on delivering factual, nuanced, and balanced Nigerian-focused programming.
Radio Now is owned by veteran journalist and Media Entrepreneur, Kadaria Ahmed
Kadaria Ahmed is a Journalist with over 30 years experience with experience in organizations like the BBC, Next News paper (now defunct) and many more.
She was Editor at Next which is Nigeria’s First Investigative Journalism Organization.
Ms Ahmed is also the brain behind “The Candidate”, a town hall where citizens interact with Presidential Candidates and also “Open Square”, a town hall series where Legislators and their constituents interact.
In an Anniversary Message on her Facebook page she said” @radionow953fm is 3 years old today. I want to thank the people who have made this milestone possible beginning with the incredibly dedicated team at the station .
“Also critical to our journey has been our audience, advertisers, sponsors, donor agencies , board and shareholders . We look forward to their continued support as we produce, vigorous, in-depth and independent journalism which makes a difference”, she added.
