Rapper and singer Tinchy Stryder has switched on Mansfield’s Christmas lights in front of large crowds.
As well as performing some of his well-known songs, the 37-year-old Number 1 singer took part in a countdown before pressing a big red button to light up the Nottinghamshire town.

Blue singer Simon Webbe had originally been booked to turn on the lights but due to a last-minute conflict the town’s council had to find a replacement.
Stryder has had two UK number one singles and has collaborated with Taio Cruz, Calvin Harris and the Chuckle Brothers.
