New ministries may be created in the Tinubu administration according to Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to the President.
The first ministerial list, containing 28 names, was submitted to the National Assembly and read in the upper chamber by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

The Chief of Staff says the nominees were chosen after strict personal screening by the President.
According to Mr Gbajabiamila, the president decided to toe the line of tradition by not attaching the portfolio of the nominees in order to give room for reviews.
