Ahead of the inauguration of the 10th National Assembly, the zoning template for the 10th National Assembly Presiding offices by the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress still appears to be causing crisis and creating problems for the ruling party as there is high wire campaigns, wooing and cajoling of other parties outside the ruling party by aspirants.
Against this backdrop, a group of Senators calling themselves the Stability Group, are working to promote Senators Godswill Akpabio-Jibrin Barau for the leadership of the 10th Senate. They visited the National Secretariat of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP and that of the Labour Party, LP separately.

Addressing the National Working Committee of NNPP, Senator Akpabio noted that the Stability Group was determined to secure the support of the leadership of the opposition parties, ahead of June 13 Inauguration.
The visits to the Secretariats of the parties are coming barely 24 hours after meeting with the All APC NWC.
