Seven people lost their lives in a road crash on the dual carriage bypass ring road in Osogbo, the Osun State capital yesterday.
The accident involved a Blue Mazda commercial bus with registration number RBC15 ZN, a yellow TVS tricycle with registration number RLG 898 QE and a green Bajaj Boxer TVS Motorcycle with registration number SGB 630 DN.

Men of the Osun State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), policemen and other emergency responders rushed the injured to a hospital, and evacuated the vehicles from the road.
The Public Enlightenment Officer of the FRSC, Agnes Ogungbemi, confirmed that the seven people who died in the accident included four males and three females. Officer Ogungbemi blamed the crash on speed violation, and cautioned drivers against excessive speeding.
