Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos, has condoled with the families of passengers who died in a road accident along Badagry expressway on Sunday.
14 persons, including a four-month-old baby, are reported to have died when a bus and a truck collided on the Lagos-Badagry expressway.
Road safety authorities said nine other persons sustained injuries in the accident.

In a statement on Monday by Mr. Gboyega Akosile, Governor Sanwo-Olu’s spokesperson, the governor said the death of the victims has dipped the state into a “sober time”.
As he prayed for the fortitude of the families to bear the loss, Governor Sanwo-Olu noted that the death of a loved one is indeed very painful.
