The Ministry of Sports, in collaboration with Yucateco Boxing Promotions, will hold a Boxing Award ceremony in Lagos.
According to the CEO of Yucateco Boxing Promotions, Omonlei Yakubu Imadu, the Award aims to celebrate and recognize Nigeria’s boxing heroes, including boxers, referees, judges, and others who have contributed to the growth of boxing in Nigeria over the years.

The Awardees for this year’s event include notable figures such as Lt. Gen. Kenneth Minimah (Rtd), late Hogan Bassy, Isaac Ikhouria, Sabo Mohammed, Anthony Konyegwachie, Lawal Lukmon Olaiwola, and Edith Agu Ogoke.
Others are Joseph Mensah, Ajani Aremu, Abdullahi Masha, Samson Aransiola, and Adesanya Olusegun Ayodele.
