Renowned Nigerian music video director, TG Omori, has revealed he only began making profit from his work in 2023, despite years of industry acclaim.
Speaking during an interactive session with fans on X, Omori disclosed he had been battling production debt for five years, which he eventually cleared using earnings from his personal brand.

The director, known for his vibrant and cinematic style, is one of the most in-demand names in the Nigerian music scene.
In 2023, singer Davido confirmed he paid Omori ₦100 million to direct the video for his hit single *Jowo*—a fee Omori later verified.
His candid revelation has sparked fresh conversation about the hidden financial realities faced by creatives, even at the top of their field.
