President Bola Tinubu has appointed Jamila Bio Ibrahim as the minister of youth.
The president also appointed Ayodele Olawande to serve as the minister of state for youth.
announcing the development in a statement on yesterday, Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, said their nomination for the positions is a prelude to their confirmation by the upper chamber of the national assembly.

Jamila Bio Ibrahim is a young medical doctor just recently served as the President of the Progressive Young Women Forum (PYWF). She has also served as the Senior Special Assistant to the Kwara State Governor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
