Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has dismissed suggestions linking her romantically with fellow singer Wizkid. The speculation followed her recent revelation that she once dated a public figure who preferred to keep their relationship away from public view.
Her comments prompted many Nigerians to assume she was referring to Wizkid, given longstanding rumours of a romance between the two. But speaking in a separate interview, Tiwa made clear that the Grammy-nominated star was not the person in question.

The singer, who described Wizkid as a respected colleague she admires, chose not to reveal the identity of the celebrity she dated. She stressed that while the relationship was kept private at her partner’s request, the speculation around Wizkid was misplaced.
