Renowned Afrobeats icon Tiwa Savage has sparked speculation about her future in music, revealing that her forthcoming studio album might mark the end of her illustrious career.  

In a heartfelt message shared via her Instagram story, the singer wrote, ‘This might be my last studio album. I am tired, I don try.’ While the announcement has stirred emotions among fans, details about the album remain under wraps.

Born Tiwatope Savage on February 5, 1980, in Ikeja, Lagos State, Tiwa Savage began her musical odyssey in 1996. She honed her craft as a backup vocalist for global superstars such as Kelly Clarkson, Mary J. Blige, and Destiny’s Child.  

Her breakthrough moment came in 2006 when she competed in the UK edition of The X Factor, advancing to the top 24 contestants. In 2010, her debut single, ‘Kele Kele Love’, catapulted her to fame on the Nigerian music scene, cementing her status as a trailblazer in Afrobeats.
