Two more commissioners have resigned their positions in the Rivers State executive council.
The Commissioner of Social welfare and Rehabilitation, Mrs Inime Chinwenwo-Aguma, and the Commissioner for Works, Dr George-Kelly Alabo, who is considered to be a staunch loyalist of former governor Nyesom Wike.
Commissioner Alabo, in a letter dated December 14 and addressed to Governor Siminalayi Fubara through the Secretary to the State Government, says he resigned based on the dictates of his conscience, personal philosophy, and professional ethics. He thanked the governor for the opportunity to serve.
Alabo and Chinwenwo-Aguma’s resignation came hours after the state Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General, Prof Zacchaeus Adangor resigned his position.
