Addressing the United Nations Security Council, UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini expressed grave concerns over the impact of Israel’s actions. He stated that the ongoing assault on the agency undermines the lives and futures of Palestinians across the occupied territories.
Mr. Lazzarini further warned that the ban on UNRWA jeopardises regional peace efforts, emphasising the importance of the agency’s work in fostering stability amid the ongoing crisis.
