We are pleased and honoured to present to you the first edition of our series of #UrgentConversations, with the theme ‘The Fierce Urgency of Now – Tactics and Strategies to Pull Nigeria from the Brink.’
#UrgentConversations will provide an inclusive, nonpartisan platform for public discourse that can deliver real, tangible steps to begin the urgent but hard work of building trust among Nigeria and rekindling faith in the promise of Nigeria.
The First Edition held on the 19th of February, and featured speakers:
- Governor Kayode Fayemi, Chair, Nigerian governors forum and Executive Governor of Ekiti state,
- Governor Nasir El-Rufai, Governor of Kaduna State,
- Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, 9th Senate Minority Leader.
As well as panelists:
- Chioma Agwuegbo, Convener State of Emergency GBV,
- Pastor Sam Adeyemi, Founder Daystar Christian Center,
- Bamidele Ademola-Olateju, Journalist,
- Abubakar Suleiman, MD, Sterling Bank.
