Controversial social media activist VeryDarkMan has dismissed a proposed N120 million boxing match with singer Portable, describing the offer from music executive Soso Soberekon as an insult.
In a video posted Sunday, VeryDarkMan accused Soberekon of disrespect, claiming he once rejected a $100,000 offer to fight US rapper 50 Cent in 2024. He argued that any serious bout involving him would require a fee in the region of $1 million, not what he considers a ‘low’ offer in naira.

He also alleged that the 50 Cent proposal had been brokered through prominent figures, including boxing officials and influencer Tunde Ednut, but was eventually aborted due to financial disagreements.
Dismissing the N120 million proposal as inadequate, VeryDarkMan said it wouldn’t cover a decent property in Abuja and warned Soberekon to stop mentioning his name without serious financial backing.
