Nigerian music star Davido has announced plans to donate ₦300 million to orphanages across the country through his Davido Adeleke Foundation. The singer shared the news on his official Twitter account on Monday, emphasising his commitment to giving back.
Davido established the foundation in 2022 to support vulnerable children in collaboration with other charitable organisations. In 2023, the foundation donated over ₦200 million, benefiting 13,818 children in orphanages across Nigeria.
He has also pledged additional donations in 2024, continuing the foundation’s focus on addressing key social issues.
