Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for targeting Israel’s Ashdod naval base for the first time, alongside a strike on a military target in Tel Aviv using advanced missiles and drones.
The Israeli military reported air raid sirens in the central and northern regions, including Tel Aviv’s suburbs, and intercepted several of the missiles aimed at northern Israel. Authorities noted that a total of 250 projectiles were fired from Lebanon, with Israeli army radio later reporting an even higher total of 340 missiles launched.

At least 11 people were wounded in the attacks, including one man in “moderate to serious” condition, according to medical sources. These strikes come on the heels of Israel’s airstrike on central Beirut, which killed 29 people and left 66 others injured, as reported by Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health.
