Israeli airstrikes on northern and central Gaza have killed dozens of people, according to medical sources. Early Wednesday, a residential building in Beit Lahiya, near Kamal Adwan Hospital, was bombed, killing at least 20 people, including women and children. The multistorey home housed about 30 displaced people before the attack, and rescue efforts are ongoing amidst fears the death toll could rise.
In Nuseirat refugee camp, another airstrike on a residential home claimed the lives of seven people, all from the same family. The densely populated camp has been heavily affected by recent hostilities, with multiple civilian casualties reported.

Elsewhere in Gaza City, the Palestinian Civil Emergency Service confirmed two more fatalities following an Israeli air raid on a house. Footage from the scenes shows rescue workers and civilians using bare hands to search through rubble for survivors amidst worsening conditions.
The attacks come as Gaza endures intensified bombardments under a prolonged siege, worsening the already dire humanitarian crisis in the territory.
