The Israeli military has intensified attacks on three major hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip, prompting urgent calls for international intervention. The targeted facilities include Kamal Adwan Hospital and Indonesian Hospital in Beit Lahiya, as well as al-Awda Hospital near the Jabalia refugee camp.
At Kamal Adwan Hospital, two explosive-laden unmanned robotic vehicles detonated early Tuesday, wounding about 20 patients and medical staff, according to hospital director Hussam Abu Safia. This marks the first confirmed use of such explosives at the facility, though similar tactics have been reported elsewhere in northern Gaza.

According to Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud reporting from Deir el-Balah said that much of the area around Kamal Adwan has been cleared of buildings, with infrastructure severely damaged, impeding access to the hospital. Repeated bombings have left several departments, including the intensive care unit, non-functional.
Authorities in Gaza have appealed to the international community for immediate action as the humanitarian crisis escalates amid intensified Israeli military operations.
