Governor Fubara also maintained that Martins Amaewhule and 26 other members who recently defected from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress would no longer be recognised as legislators. Citing legal provisions, he insisted their defection disqualified them from retaining their Assembly seats.
The governor called for cooperation across the state to ensure the successful execution of the 2025 fiscal plan.
