The Israeli military has carried out an airstrike in the Gaza Strip, despite an existing ceasefire in the Palestinian enclave.
In a statement, the Israeli army said the strike targeted a rocket launcher allegedly used to fire a projectile from within Gaza.

Eyewitnesses reported that an Israeli drone launched a missile at an agricultural area east of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
There have been no reports of casualties, and Palestinian authorities had not issued a response by the time this report was filed.
