Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has vowed to fully implement the recent Supreme Court ruling on the state’s political crisis. Speaking on Tuesday at the inauguration of a newly completed Judges’ Quarters in Port Harcourt’s Old GRA, he stressed the need to prioritise the state’s interests over personal ambitions.
Reflecting on the financial toll of the prolonged political dispute in the state, the governor acknowledged the substantial resources spent by both sides. He argued that such funds would have been better utilised for the state’s development rather than political battles.
