The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission says it recovered more than N365.4bn and secured 4,111 convictions in 2024.
The agency’s chairman, Ola Olukoyede, speaking in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, described the achievement as a testament to the dedication and sacrifice of its staff. Addressing a three-day retreat for directors, he pledged to exceed the record in 2025.

Olukoyede stressed the importance of professionalism and integrity in tackling corruption, saying the EFCC was committed to building a motivated and effective workforce.
