The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, says it is investigating a wave of unusual complaints following the release of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination results last Friday. According to a statement by the Board’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, the board revealed that it has fast-tracked its annual post-examination review to address the concerns.
The review, which typically spans the registration, examination and result release phases, is being accelerated this year due to the volume of complaints, particularly from a few states. JAMB said it is working to determine whether technical issues affected the integrity of the results.

To ensure a thorough process, the board says it engaged experts including members of the Computer Professionals Association of Nigeria, Vice Chancellors, measurement specialists, and Chief External Examiners. JAMB says if any faults are confirmed, appropriate remedial actions will be taken swiftly.
Mr. Benjamin stressed that JAMB remains committed to fairness and transparency, and will uphold its policy of rescheduling exams in the event of genuine disruptions.
