The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, says Owoeye Daniella Jesudunsin from Ekiti State emerged the highest scorer in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination with 372 out of 400 marks.
JAMB Registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, announced the result during the 2026 admission policy meeting in Abuja on Monday. He said the candidate sat for the examination in Ogun State and selected the University of Lagos to study Medicine and Surgery.
Ikenna Enwere from Imo State came second with 370 marks, while Ayomide Bamisile from Ondo State scored 369 to place third. JAMB also approved deadlines for tertiary institutions to conclude admissions for the 2026 academic session.

Professor Oloyede further announced that from 2027, candidates may be allowed to use personal devices for the UTME, with safeguards introduced to prevent examination malpractice.
