At least 114 Palestinians have been killed in a fresh wave of Israeli air strikes across Gaza, according to local health officials and rescue workers.
The Israeli military says it is targeting Hamas operatives and infrastructure as it prepares to widen its ground offensive in the enclave.
The escalation coincides with a regional visit by US President Donald Trump and ongoing indirect talks aimed at securing a new ceasefire and the release of hostages.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio expressed concern over the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza, now entering its tenth week under a full Israeli blockade.
Mr Rubio again urged Hamas to surrender and release the hostages, insisting peace is not possible while the group remains active.
Hamas, for its part, accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of sabotaging mediation efforts through intensified military action.
Israel maintains negotiations will continue under sustained military pressure.
