The Nigerian Railway Corporation has announced additional train services ahead of the Eid-El-Kabir festival to accommodate the expected increase in passenger traffic.
A statement by Callistus Unyimadu, Acting Deputy Director of Public Relations, said an extra Lagos-Ibadan trip will depart at 1:55 pm, while the Ibadan-Lagos service will depart at 11:03 am on 5 June.

The NRC has also introduced a special train service on the Warri-Itakpe corridor on 5 June, a day usually set aside for routine maintenance, which has now been shifted to Sunday, 8 June.
The Managing Director, Dr Kayode Opeifa, extended best wishes for a safe and pleasant Eid celebration, reaffirming the corporation’s commitment to providing safe, efficient, and customer-focused railway services.
