The Gaza People’s Tribunal has accused Israel of committing genocide in the besieged enclave and urged global powers to act. Established in London in November 2024, the body draws inspiration from the Russell Tribunal, which investigated U.S. actions in Vietnam.
In its latest statement, the tribunal warned that allowing Israeli perpetrators and their Western supporters to escape justice would mark “one of the worst atrocities in history.” It said its year-long work has involved witness hearings, evidence gathering, and appeals to end what it calls an ongoing genocide.

The panel condemned what it described as deliberate attacks on civilians, hospitals, schools, and journalists, and rejected what it labeled as diplomatic such as the Trump and Macron plans. It called for justice, accountability, and full liberation for the Palestinian people.
