Two U.S. dates on Burna Boy’s ‘No Sign of Weakness’ tour have been abruptly cancelled after poor ticket sales. Ticketmaster confirmed the last-minute decision on Thursday, cancelling Friday night’s show at The Armory in Minneapolis and another scheduled for 1 December in Chicago. No official reason was offered by organisers, but the cancellations follow intense criticism directed at the singer after a video circulated of him confronting a couple who fell asleep during his Colorado performance.

The controversy deepened when Burna Boy later said on Instagram Live that he preferred “supporters who buy tickets” over casual fans. It has since emerged that the woman involved had recently suffered a personal loss. Burna Boy confirmed the cancellations himself, sharing Ticketmaster’s notice on his Instagram story.
