Hosts Morocco have qualified for the final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations after defeating Nigeria 4-2 on penalties following a goalless semi-final in Rabat. The match ended 0-0 after extra time at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, with neither side able to find a breakthrough in 120 minutes.
The Atlas Lions held their nerve in the penalty shootout to edge past the Super Eagles and book a place in Sunday’s final. Nigeria missed two spot kicks, while Morocco converted four to seal victory in front of a home crowd.
