Social media personality Blessing Okoro, widely known as Blessing CEO, has responded to growing backlash over her health claims and appeal for financial support. The controversy follows her announcement of a stage four breast cancer diagnosis.
Speaking during an Instagram Live session, she said she delayed releasing her medical report because she was still trying to understand her condition. She explained that confusion about her diagnosis and medical procedures contributed to her decision to withhold details at the time.
The 36-year-old said she turned to the public for help due to uncertainty about the cost and complexity of treatment. According to her, initial plans included selling personal assets such as her car and home before advice from friends led her to seek public donations instead.
