Nigerian socialite Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has declared his intention to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives under the All Progressives Congress. He made the announcement at the party’s secretariat in Imo State.
In a video shared online, he said he aims to represent the Oru East, Orsu and Orlu federal constituency in the 2027 general election. He added that he had informed party leaders of his ambition and received their support.
Party officials present at the meeting praised his involvement and commitment, expressing confidence in his potential candidacy. Cubana Chief Priest also reaffirmed his support for the ruling party and its leadership.

His declaration comes days after actor Zubby Michael announced plans to contest for a House of Representatives seat under the African Democratic Congress.
