In the eastern Donetsk region, authorities say two people died, and four were wounded in the past 24 hours, as Russian forces carried out 19 strikes damaging homes, infrastructure and a minibus. Fighting in the area has also forced the evacuation of more than 800 civilians, including children.
In the northeastern Sumy region, a 60-year-old woman was killed after a drone strike hit residential buildings, sparking fires. Officials said the victim died from carbon monoxide poisoning.
