Nigeria’s U-20 women’s national team, the Nigeria U-20 women’s national football team, have been placed in Pot 2 ahead of the draw for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
The draw is scheduled to take place at the EC1 Cultural Centre on Friday. The Falconets are among four African teams taking part in the tournament, alongside Ghana, Tanzania and Benin.
The team, coached by Moses Aduku, qualified for Poland 2026 after a 3-2 aggregate win over Malawi’s Young Scorchers in the qualifying series. The Falconets will be making their 15th appearance at the competition.

The tournament is scheduled to run from 5 September to 27 September 2026, with several teams, including the United States, Colombia, Mexico, Canada and New Zealand, also placed in Pot 2.
