Lagos State has announced a three-week traffic diversion for repairs on Oke-Afa Bridge in Isolo.
Transport Commissioner Oluwaseun Osiyemi said in a statement that rehabilitation will run from Friday, August 28th, to Friday, September 18th.
Work will happen in two phases. The first, from August 28th to September 11, covers the outbound Isolo-to-Ejigbo section of the bridge. The second phase, from September 12 to September 18, covers the inbound section.
Osiyemi said the Federal Ministry of Works is carrying out the repairs, through its Lagos office, alongside contractor Strabic Construction Limited.
He urged motorists to plan their journeys and follow traffic management directives during the period.
