Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has left the team’s Unity Cup camp in London citing personal reasons.
The veteran forward recently returned to the national team fold for the first time since the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, having rejoined club football with Kano Pillars last October after a period without a club following his exit from Turkey’s Sivasspor.
In the Nigerian Premier League, Musa impressed with ten goals and two assists across 23 appearances, catching the attention of coach Eric Chelle.

However, Musa will miss Nigeria’s upcoming final against Jamaica, with his absence expected to impact the squad ahead of the crucial fixture.
