Dangote Refinery Cuts Petrol Prices to ₦875–₦905

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a nationwide reduction in petrol pump prices, cutting rates by ₦15 per litre across all regions. New prices now range from ₦875 in Lagos to ₦905 in the North-East and South-South.

In a statement, the refinery said the price adjustment applies to all major fuel marketers, including MRS, Ardova, Heyden, and Techno Oil. The company attributed the reduction to the naira-for-crude arrangement that allows operational efficiency and price stability.

Residents in Lagos, who previously paid ₦890 per litre, will now pay ₦875, while those in the North-East and South-South will pay ₦905. The company stated its refined fuel is both efficient and environmentally friendly.

Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, said the decision reflects the refinery’s commitment to easing consumer burdens and stabilising fuel costs in the country.
