Marc Anthony’s 2024 album ‘Muevense’ features a lead track bearing the same name, which D’banj claims is a Latin rendition of his chart-topping single.

Speaking during an interview, D’banj said he was initially flattered by the gesture, calling it a career highlight. However, he stressed that business protocols in the music industry could not be overlooked.
The Nigerian singer revealed that no prior permission was sought before the sample was used and released commercially as the album’s lead single.
Describing the incident as a ‘digital era blessing,’ D’banj confirmed his legal team is handling the matter, while maintaining admiration for Marc Anthony’s artistry.
