At least 44 Palestinians were reported dead on Tuesday following two separate incidents near humanitarian aid points in Gaza, according to local medics.
Gaza health officials said 25 people were killed north of Rafah after Israeli forces allegedly opened fire on civilians waiting for food assistance. Dozens more were wounded.
In central Gaza, Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat reported receiving 19 bodies and treating over 100 injured. Witnesses claimed the casualties followed an Israeli airstrike targeting a crowd gathered for aid.

The Israeli military has not confirmed responsibility but acknowledged awareness of injuries caused by shelling. It said people had approached its forces and that investigations were underway.
No details on fatalities were released by the military.
Israeli military action has left over 56,000 people dead in Gaza, according to health officials in the territory.
