Veteran Nigerian singer Daddy Showkey has publicly praised Fuji star Alabi Pasuma for standing by him during one of the darkest periods of his life.
Speaking emotionally at a recent celebrity event, Daddy Showkey told the audience that Pasuma singlehandedly supported his family for three years following a near-fatal accident in 2007 that left him hospitalised.

In a video now circulating on social media, he described Pasuma as his only true friend in the music industry, recalling how others turned him away during his recovery.
The singer said the experience taught him the true meaning of loyalty and brotherhood.
