Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and Kuwait’s Emir Mishal al-Ahmad Al Sabah have renewed their call for full adherence to January’s ceasefire plan, which outlines a phased end to the war in Gaza and the reconstruction of the territory.
In a joint statement, the two leaders condemned Israel’s breach of the truce in March and urged an immediate halt to civilian targeting.

They also rejected ongoing Israeli military operations and warned of severe humanitarian fallout, cautioning that such actions could widen the conflict and threaten both regional and global stability.
The statement, released via President el-Sisi’s office, also rejected any attempt to displace Palestinians from Gaza or the occupied West Bank—whether temporary or permanent, voluntary or forced—under any justification.
