Business executive and cancer survivor Farooq Oreagba turned heads once more at this year’s Ojude Oba Festival in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
Riding in on horseback and clad in a striking agbada with coordinated accessories, the 58-year-old drew applause from guests and admirers online—many hailing him as the ‘King of Steeze.’
Oreagba, who first went viral at the 2024 edition, has become one of the cultural festival’s most recognisable faces.

Sunday’s event brought together indigenes, traditional rulers, and cultural groups in honour of the Awujale of Ijebuland.
Managing Director of NG Clearing Limited and an engineer by training, Mr. Oreagba has previously spoken of how surviving cancer reshaped his outlook on life.
This year’s appearance, observers say, was not just a fashion statement, but a celebration of resilience, heritage, and personal rebirth.
