Nigeria’s Flying Eagles played out a goalless draw with Morocco on Sunday in a Group B encounter at the 2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Cairo. The match, held at the 30 June Stadium, saw both teams share possession and chances evenly in what proved to be a tightly contested fixture.
Daniel Bameyi stood out for Nigeria with a commanding defensive performance that earned him the Man of the Match award. The result leaves Nigeria with four points from two matches, having earlier defeated Tunisia one-nil in their group opener.

Elsewhere in Group B, Tunisia revived their campaign with a 3-1 win over Kenya. Morocco currently top the group on goal difference, with Nigeria in second and Tunisia in third. Kenya remains bottom, without a point.
The Flying Eagles face Kenya next on Wednesday. A draw in that match would guarantee Nigeria a place in the knockout stages, regardless of the outcome between Tunisia and Morocco, which will be played at the same time.
